The IMMv2 is a complementary solution to the
Intec's Interconnection systems and acts as
a tool of reports generation and information extraction
relative to the CDRs processing. Nowadays all the
information provided by IMMv2 has as source the
Settler's database.
The IMMv2's main purposes are :
> Generation of aggregated data
from interconnection systems information.
> Generation of reports and files from aggregated data
> Generation of files from interconnection system data
Besides the main purposes, the IMMv2 also offers the following functionalities :
> Configuration of informative graphics about the aggregated data.
> Configuration of alarms to monitoring the aggregated data.
One of the IMMv2 main characteristics is the possibility of personalization :
> Automatic and flexible reports;
> Addition of new modules, conectors and distributors, to interface with other systems;
> Modular distributed architecture : the system's
components can execute in different machines since that they have a shared directory.
The Connector searches the available information at the interconnection
systems and maps it on IMMv2 data model. The Connector is used by the
Aggregator to get the data that will be indexed at IMMv2's database.
The Aggregator allows that the users define various forms of aggregation
of the informations proceeding from Settler to be periodically indexed.
The periodical indexing offers to the system a better performance on the
proccess of data aggregation. The aggregated data are used to feed the reports
defined at IMMv2.

The Distributors are components responsable for the generation of
the reports and files in the defined formats. The offered distributtors,
firsts, by the system are for CSV, PDF, XML, XLS and HTML files.
The Extractor extracts from the interconnection system large amounts of
data without aggregate, as for example, the CDR registers. The extraction
parameters are early defined in the same way that the reports are defined.
The Data Processor is responsable for the early processing of the data complying to
the report's layout and delivering it to the distributor that will store the report
in files as CVS, PDF, etc. The early processing occurs complying to the type of distributor
require or not the early processing.
New Connectors and Distributors could be developed to attend the
specific necessities. For example, complex files formats could require
a specific distributor or a distributor that can be built for IMMv2's
interface directly with the destination Data Base without the use of files.
