VOXEL Engenharia de Sistemas developed the students, servants and professors identification system used at the unities of CEFET-PR ( Federal Center of Technological Education of Paraná). The unities of CEFET-PR are establishments of technical and superior education at the cities of Curitiba, Campo Mourão, Cornélio Procópio, Medianeira, Pato Branco e Ponto Grossa, where act more than 12.000 students, servants and professors.

The identification system uses the video camera technology to obtain the images of the identified, eliminating the necessity of the traditional camera. The images are stored with the other register information of the person in the institution's database. In this module, besides the image catching it can be done elementary operations of maintenance on the identified register informations.

The id card printing module was developed in a way to allow the emission of the cards in function of different selection criteria. As for example in function of the class, Department, production lots, etc.

The id cards were designed to be a complete element of identification and easy comprehension. For this it was used a criterion of different colors to identify the various classes, functional categories and professors. Additionally the cards has the identified's school registration printed in the form of barcodes.

The id cards are used in many activities at the dependencies of the CEFET-PR's unities, such as lobbies, libraries, etc.

The systems uses client/server architecture, with ORACLE database technology at the server and clients developed with the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 in Visual C++ 6.0.
