The OMT Sigma 32 system is a operation and maintenance terminal of the Siemens SPX 2000 digital telephonic centrals.

With the resources offered by the OMT the system's operators can do the tasks of operation and maintenance of telephonic centrals by local or remote connections.

The OMT and the digital telephonic centrals uses various ways and modules of communication to increase the capability of connection and the invulnerability to fails.

VOXEL Engenharia de Sistemas developed one of the communication modules of OMT Sigma 32 maintenance terminal.

For the project modeling, it was used the method
SOMT(SDL - oriented Object Modeling Technique) ideal to specify, define and model real-time communication systems.

But the implementation was done on
Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0.
