The Retrofitting (improvement) is the conversion of a conventional machine into a machine controlled by CNC( Computerized Numeric Command ) or the control system's actualization of an old machine.

The machine's slothful time, the existence of delivery delays and unhappy operators are indicators for the implementation of retrofitting. The retrofitting choice is an economic alternative to acquire an actualized machine and sometimes is quicker to doing this than buying a new machine.

The developed solution places an electro-mechanical computerized system that allows the motorized movement of the backboard of many types of industrial folding machine press. The step engine's activation is done by electronic signals generated by a computerized module. The signals are conditioned by a dedicated potency driver. The microprocessing technology places the most modern evolution of Z180. The software developed by VOXEL place techniques of motor activation that allows a good velocity without lost of precision and repeatability hardly found on other category devices.

The resultant product of the system in development has as target market the ironmasters and companies that uses manual folding machine press.
