The SigeX is a simulator to follow
the evolution of a species genetically defined
that interacts with established environments.
The evolution starts from a population of
individuals created corresponding to their genetic
characteristics and randomly dispersed in an environment.
Through the simulator it can alter the simulation parameters,
watches the genetic structure evolution of each individual,
extract the current state of the population for analysis and
validate informally by the animation of the individuals at the environment.
The obtained results by the simulator are
reached in a much lower time if
compared to the results reached in a real system.
Besides the advantage of time the simulator has the
flexibility to change the population characteristics
and to simulate at any time of the evolution. It allows
the realization of experiences hardly obtained with real
individuals by a much lower cost.
Implemented with the MS Visual C++ in English and Portuguese it boards a
specialization of genetic algorithm turned to the characteristics
of the simulated individuals.
