The system has the responsibility of register, maintain and manage all the informations relative to the cab shipping of Curitiba's city.

With its implantation, a drastic reduction occurred on the necessity of manipulating / document archiving in paper model and a significative increase of productivity and in the facility on conduction of the daily operational process relative to URBS cab business - the public company of mass transit management of Paraná's capital.

On the conductors module besides the traditional register information the system allow the inclusion of the photo (image) of the conductor, acquired by a common video system or digital camera. The conductor's photo will be used on the production of the id cards eliminating the necessity of giving a photograph.

The System has, additionally, analysis and route statistic information modules offering the URBS's transport management the data necessary to decision taking in the management and definition of business conduction strategies.

The information system developed uses client/server architecture structured in 3-tier with ORACLE database technology on the server and clients developed with the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual C++ 6.0.
