VOXEL finalizes the second phase of Doug Engelbart's project.
Project from mouse and graphical interface's creator had VOXEL's participation

In its first international project, with the United
Kingdom's client (Frode Hegland), the project manager
at California (Steve Smith) and the developer
of the first stage at Russia(Mikhail Seliverstov),
VOXEL delivered at the end of September the second
stage of Hyperscope.

It is about another visionary idea from Doug Engelbart,
American scientist that on 60's decade created the
mouse, the graphical interface and the text editor
among many other recourses that today are commonly
incorporated in the personal computers around the
world. To know more about Doug Engelbart's work

University.

Doug Engelbart's ideas were so revolutionary that
stimulated the Norse researcher Frode Hegland and
the Dutch journalist Fleur Klijnsma to create a
documentary about his life and work, called
Invisible Revolution (www.invisiblerevolution.net).

But Frode Hegland was not satisfied, as part of his
Masters Deegre, he hired VOXEL to develop the second
stage of his Hyperscope's prototype, one of the
few ideas of Engelbart that did not was realized
fully yet. This way was born the HyperBlog that is
hosted at http://www.cynapse.org

VOXEL developed the entire system of e-mail parsing,
search system, commentary inclusion engine, besides
structural changes in the interface and content
disponibilization via RSS ( real simple
syndication). The technology used was entirely JAVA
running on a Linux with Tomcat server.
