Depois de muita especulação durante meses, recentemente descobrimos quem dará vida ao Cavaleiro das Trevas no próximo filme de Matt Reeves, The Batman. A confirmação de Robert Pattinson chegou, sem surpresas, com muita polêmica e opiniões divididas.
A produção está cercada de mistérios e acredita-se que a história irá girar em torno de uma versão mais jovem do Bruce Wayne do que estamos acostumados a ver. Outros boatos tratam dos personagens e vilões da DC que podem aparecer na produção, e é claro que a presença marcante do Coringa não poderia ficar de fora das especulações.
Embora já tenham surgido indícios da aparição de personagens como Pinguim, Mulher-Gato, Riddler, Duas-Caras, Riddler, Vagalume e Chapeleiro Louco, nada foi falado sobre a participação do vilão, que já ganhou vida com Jack Nicholson e Heath Ledger. Mesmo assim, os fãs já estão discutindo quem poderia ser o próximo ator a interpretar o Coringa, e Macaulay Culkin aparece no topo da lista.
