Ator de Roma consegue visto para ir à cerimônia do Oscar

O ator que interpretou o personagem Fermín no longa Roma, da Netflix, Jorge Antonio Guerrero, finalmente conseguiu autorização para entrar nos Estados Unidos e participar da cerimônia do Oscar — que acontece no dia 24 de fevereiro em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos. Ele havia recebido uma negativa do consulado norte-americano e estaria impedido de marcar presença do evento, mas o governo voltou atrás na decisão para que Guerrero pudesse prestigiar a premiação.

Não foi a primeira vez que o ator foi impedido de entrar nos Estados Unidos para uma premiação. Ele já havia tido o visto negado anteriormente em duas outras ocasiões, mas desta vez recebeu apoio da Talent on the Road [Talento na estrada, em tradução livre] — uma organização de apoio a artistas que precisam viajar para divulgar seu trabalho, porém encontram dificuldade por conta da burocracia envolvida no processo de vistos de entrada em alguns países.

Na quarta-feira (13), Guerrero publicou em seu perfil no Instagram um post agradecendo o apoio da Talent on the Road, do Consulado do México nos Estados Unidos e da Embaixada norte-americana. Ele também comemorou o respaldo que teve da própria Netflix, que interveio junto ao governo do país para que a licença fosse obtida.
